“The resort we stayed is only 1 year old and very poor planning to do activities. To see whale shark cost 500 and the resort does not arrange for visitors to go other islands. We could not do activities such as snorkelling as one member of staff we cannot do as we are not swimmers. Food is exceptional goof. Resort is clean. Staff are very friendly especially reception ”

“Lovely place, Male airport was a breeze going, apart from 2 hour seaplane wait, but coming home we were still stood waiting in the passport queue when the flight to Dubai was supposed to depart. Luckily there was quite a few in the queue and they held the flight, so only delayed 45 minutes in the end. ”

“Maldives was great however, my transition flight from Dubai in which we stayed for 2 nights was embarrassingly awful. I am hesitant to write this feedback because it destroyed my whole itinerary for Dubai as we landed at 6-7am in the morning with paid excursions set for the day that we could not do due to our hotel not being booked correctly. So we wasted the whole day and had a new room booked by 2pm and we were very jet lagged and tired with 0 sleep. It was not the way I wanted to start my honeymoon. Not only could we not go to our pre paid excursions/plans we also lost out on a lot of money for missing out due to hotel not being booked accurately as it was supposed to set us for the day ahead. It was very distressing and had left me defeated and in tears.”

“The Maldives is one of the most beautiful areas we have ever been to, the only part you generally see though is the airport and your island. The airport has improved and has a good lounge only down side can be the queue to get into Departures which can be some distance out of the entrance doors as people get through security. ”

“Everything we dreamed of and more. We look back at the photos now and they still look unreal but The beauty of Sangeli and it’s staff are very real. Accommodation and service second to none. We were lucky to be one of the first lot of guests as only opened in July. It is very exclusive and not sure if we could afford to go back in years to come as I think we got a very good deal but it is so beautiful and perfect I am sure the prices will rocket. The place is fit for movie stars, amazing, amazing, amazing!!”

“Olhivelhi Island - staff very friendly & helpful, beautiful island but food awful and had to pay for wifi daily free on many islands. The first room we had on arrival had nets on the bed which were dirty and the patio sun beds had black mould on, we said nothing but asked to move to ground floor deluxe room and this was better with clean nets and sun beds. however rooms very dark and tired at Olhuvelhi. Would not go back to this island. Expensive for what you get and many islands give better value for your Money!”

“People very hospitable on the island resort, but the organisation for our return to Mali was confused and delayed with 3 different departure times being given to us, which resulted in us getting to the airport last of all the passengers. As a result we did not get seats because the flight was overbooked and we had to fly home the following day. Information from the Mali Tourist Office about pick-up times etc was again confused as was information about what we were required to pay for in the hotel we were put in for the night.”

“We loved the island , the people are so friendly and made us very welcome. We did a few excursions , the sunset cruise , the dolphin trip and private island. We saw a family of Dolphins which was wonderful. The Spa was good value and we both had a treatment. Highly recommend this.”

“Hotel Bodu Hithi is not a 5 star resort, at a stretch it only just makes 4 stars. The accommodation in the beach villas is excellent, however I would not like to stay on the sunset side as the beach is predominantly sand bags and concrete. Service is slow and could be much better. Food in the restaurants is excellent, particularly the buffet, which I wouldn't normally choose.”

It was stunning perfect for a honeymoon, not a great deal to do during the day other than sun yourself and be pampered or there is diving for the more adventurous. It was stunning, but book either full or half board.”

“We booked our wedding and hoyenmoon with Ruth, and could not fault the service we where given, and the attention to detail that Ruth went into. When we arrived in Dubai the hotel was amazing with all the staff paying great attention to details, which went as far as giving my wife a flower arrangement on the morning of the wedding and 2 bottles of Champange then we retruned from the church. The hoyenmoon on Coco Plam was out of this world and if you are going you must spend the day on the desert island (WHAT AN EXPERIANCE) ”
