"Hotel Bodu Hithi is not a 5 star resort, at a stretch it only just makes 4 stars. The accommodation in the beach villas is excellent, however I would not like to stay on the sunset side as the beach is predominantly sand bags and concrete. Service is slow and could be much better. "Absolutely beautiful part of world...just have to keep going back...bit of a problem on Royal Island initially though - accommodated on part of the island with no beach and hardly any access to (v rocky) sea. "Bodu hithi is a destination that looked as good in real life as it did in brouchers. It was stunning perfect for a honeymoon, not a great deal to do during the day other than sun yourself and be pampered or there is diving for the more adventurous. "We booked our wedding and hoyenmoon with Ruth, and could not fault the service we where given, and the attention to detail that Ruth went into. When we arrived in Dubai the hotel was amazing with all the staff paying great attention to details, which went as far as giving my wife a flower arrangement on the morning of the wedding and 2 bottles of Champange then we retruned from the church.
