Room	10.0 / 10	Amazing hotel the best we stayed in whilst in Sri Lanka…. The staff couldn’t do enough for us, food was amazing!! We also stayed in the crown, Kandy. This was a beautiful hotel very grand but the staff were nowhere near as attentive as in Dambulla. We noticed a massive difference in the people the further we got to the capital. We noticed a lot of the staff on there phones at meal times quite regularly which made them difficult to communicate with. The room was very good and the food was also brilliant. We also stayed in galle face hotel and definately noticed a difference between staff in Dambulla and staff in the capital, staff weren’t as communicative or friendly. Food was still amazing. the room wasn’t to our taste but was clean and tidy. Facilities were great and the bonus of being in the capital is the safety to stray from the hotel without our guide. On the whole an amazing country that we will visit again. Dambulla was definately the place for us we absolutely fell in love.

Room	10.0 / 10	Amazing unusual hotel , set in the most glorious position , nestled in greenery and built into rock . Was the best starting place for our cultural triangle stay , very back to nature with all the mod cons - room was well appointed , very generous size and the bath overlooking the lake with a picture window for viewing the scenery was amazing Earls regency kandy Beautiful hotel very different from the first hotel set high up with a lovely outlook over the kandy landscape , spacious room , bathrooms could do with new tiling if I was gonna be picky as the dark blue is too dark as the bathroom had no window 3rd stay was Heritance Negombo - beautiful hotel but setting is far more generic that the two previous stays , loved the room but felt 1st hotel was our favourite . All of them offered amazing service from their staff
