Above the surface experienced windsurfers will enjoy the challenging and exciting conditions of the east coast. The rest of us can start with the calmer on the west coast! You can also take a tour of the island by helicopter. The tour can also include a trip to Montserrat which is an actve volcano.
And Antigua is a sea-dogs paradise hosting three of the top yachting events in the world.
If enjoy an Antigua holiday at the right time of year (around May) you might be able to see Antigua Sailing Week, the Classic Yacht Regatta and Nicholsons Charter Yacht Show. With such fine sailing to be had, in Antigua there is always a sail boat on the horizon to admire whilst putting your feet up and enjoying a cool beer on dry land.
