"Perfect beach destination for family's, bloody bay has a long wide, shallow bay, absolutely ideal for kids."
"Lovely but would go to the north again because of the rain but had a good holiday "
"Nice coast line although appears poor and run down in places, particularly the roads. People friendly."
"We loved Jamaica and would go back, the people are very friendly. The country was very green and lush with plenty to do and see."
"Friendly people exceptional professionalism in the staff where we stayed "
"Very Friendly people, we usually felt safer than were previously led to believe we would we like to get out of the resort and whilst there is poverty and people trying to push there things for sale it was not any worse than other places we have been. "
"Only one day in montego bay. Beach and Margaritaville were great, expensive, as were the shops. But we had a great time! We also visited Cozumel which was spectacular"
"Nice people but immigration was very slow to get through lack of staff "
"It's very poor but the people are lovely and so happy"

"Stunning country "
"Large Island, to visit things takes some time."
"Did not see a lot ofcountryside but very colourful and people lovely"
"We were slightly disappointed with the beaches and were given the impression by the tour operators that it wasn't safe to explore Jamaica, unless on a trip. Felt slightly trapped as a result.
We have been to many Caribbean Islands and I would perhaps recommend the others over Jamaica"
"Great honeymoon location "
"Resort was )Sandals Royal Caribbean ( not any of the ones listed below"
"It was a beautiful country and the people were lovely "
"Beautiful and great weather aside from one afternoon of rain while on a boat to rick's cafe!"
"Really like Jamaica"
"Jamaica was fabulous. Lovely country beaches were perfect
And the people were so laid back and welcoming and proud of their heritage "
"Lovely country, but we feel we were definitely in the best part, lovely and rural"
"Lush and green island. Where the locals were always happy and friendly. For this resort landing at Kingston be aware that the transfer to Ocho Rios is at least 120min on a good day."
"No comments except I was glad we did not get bitten by the mosquitoes too much"
"Lovely place. Lovely people."
"very poor country outwith the resorts and major cities, but people generally friendly and helpful.Ochos Rios missing the cruise ships docking and this reflects in the over eager shop staff trying to pressure you into buying.Customs staff at airport might try smiling once in a while as it is not a good first impression for visitors in a country that relies on our income."
"Fun friendly place inside the resorts.Didnt venture outside"
"have been 6 times so far. Friendly people & lots to do."
"Jamaica is lovely and the people are really friendly. The sea is nice and the landscape, green. Such a great Island."
"Very poor, but lovely people. Beautiful beaches."

"Only one word - BEAUTIFUL"
"Colourful and interesting"
"our 3rd visit - we love Jamaica"
"Researched before we went so was as expected. People very poor mostly. But hotels are good level all round "
"very poor and run down outside of complexes not changed much in 15 year last visit, very relaxing and enjoyable"
"We love this country - the second time we've been. The people are so friendly and we've come away with several new friends. The scenery is gorgeous and even being near the airport didn't bother us or ruin the hotel. Dunns River was an amazing experience only marred by the fact that we got caught by the locals trying to sell their wares on the way out, they try to offer you what they call gifts and engrave your name on wooden crafts which make you feel that you have to buy them even if you don't want them. Avoid them and the excursion is excellent. "
"Very pretty and lots to see and do. We took several tours and went to Martha Brae and Dunns River Falls. We were surprised by how much the country relies upon tourism as its main income"
"It was nice to see Jamaican people working in the industry. We took a tour to a crocodile safari and in sodoing we rode on a bus through the countryside. This is a lush green Island with rich and poor living alongside each other, literally! A massive well designed recent development with a basic wooden hut residence next door! The crime rate is high in places but as long as you keep in resort and play safe you should not experince anything untoward. We were offered illicit drugs as we lay on the beach on one occasion we simply passed it off. Driving - we had a bit of white knuckle drive to the airport by a hotel employee, not for the faint hearted but somehow he got us there in one piece...."
"Really nice people and lovely country"
"too dangerous to go out"
"We had a fab time been back since and hoping to go again soon."
"spent most of time in resort, but prefered st lucia but did have a fab time"
"The hotel (Sandals Ocho Rios) was spectacular, as all Sandals resorts that I have visited are. However, as an island Jamaica isn't as pleasant as the other Caribbean islands. In terms of its landscape and beaches it is stunning, it's just the people are not friendly, you don't feel particularly safe (armed police everywhere puts you somewhat on edge) and everyone is out to make money out of you to an even greater extent than the other islands. Even the coach drivers openly ask you for money - a hint you can deal with, a blatant "can I have some money for doing my job please" is a little rude! Still a great holiday location though!"
"Best holiday I have ever had. Will be going back again soon "
"We love it!!!"
